Dr. Lotte’s life was radically and forever changed after she experienced what would be her first of her 2 Near-Death Experiences following the birth of her 3rd child in 1992. As an atheist prior to these spiritually revolutionizing events in Dr. Lotte’s life, she held no belief that the soul survived physical death, that the afterlife existed or that the spirit world was real - and very much ready to communicate with her.
What followed in the years to come after these life-altering experiences for Dr. Lotte would be slow steps forward on her journey to regaining her health, and the beginning of her spiritual quest for answers.
Dr. Lotte’s personal understandings and spiritual beliefs about how our universe works underwent a dramatic transformation after what she had experienced during her 2 NDE’s. No longer did she identify as an atheist, for her experience of her soul existing outside her physical body and outside of time and space, had flipped everything she thought to be true, upside-down. These experiences pushed her to actively search for answers from many different areas. Seeking to make sense and understand her experiences, she sought out learning about different spiritual teachings and practices, religions, quantum physics, scientific theories about how the soul and the universe work. Looking back on this time in her life, Dr. Lotte often jokes she must have read half of the San Francisco Public Library on her quest to understanding how the universe works.
Over the span of the years that followed Dr. Lotte’s life-altering NDE’s, she began to experience the emergence and the blossoming of her intuitive abilities. She started receiving more messages from her spirit guides, communications from the spirit world, and future premonitions about events that were to come. She further strengthened and refined her skills by studying Shamanism under Shaman Itzhak Beery, and attending Arthur Findlay College in England, “The World’s Foremost College for the Advancement and Spiritualism and Psychic Sciences”, where Dr. Lotte has studied and trained in Mediumship and Trance Healing as well as spirit portraits.
