Dr. Ann Charlotte Valentin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and a Doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona. She comes from a family of doctors and was immersed in the environment of medicine and healing growing up, and learned early on the value of a holistic approach to health and well-being.

Prior to medical school, she worked in the corporate world, starting her career with IBM in New York as a programmer and systems analyst. She later studied nutrition, and also founded and ran her own e-commerce site with a focus on quality wooden toys and games. During this time she also homeschooled her three children, who were working in the professional performing arts industry. She then returned to work in the biotech field as a Sales Representative and Sales Manager for Biocare Medical, which sold antibodies for cancer detection.

Having been part of the business and corporate world, she is familiar with the stresses and demands of that lifestyle on the body. Her current focus is on family medicine, and she has a passion to help people heal from the inside out. She has training in Nutrition, Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, and Acupuncture, as well as Minor Surgery. She treats a myriad of conditions and is familiar with many different conditions such as allergies, hormonal problems, thyroid conditions as well as digestive and auto-immune conditions to mention a few.

She also has post graduate education in the following modalities:

Cranio Sacral Therapy - Upledger Institute

Emotional Release Technique - Upledger Institute

Koren Specific Technique - Dr. Tedd Koren, Koren Specific Technique

Body Talk - International Body Talk Association

Bio-Idential Hormones - American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine

Dr. Lotte is excited to be able to provide a broad spectrum of treatment options for her patients using an integrative and holistic approach.

Dr. Lotte Valentin had her first near death experience (NDE) in the emergency room in 1992, as she hemorrhaged twelve days after the birth of her third child and almost lost her life. As a result, she became deathly ill with a serious blood disorder and was walking a fine line between life and death for the next several years. In 1994, as she struggled to heal, she experienced a second NDE. These spiritually transformative experiences left her with certain spiritual and psychic gifts, and she was guided to become a physician and healer.

As she has experienced a serious illness herself she empathizes deeply with her patients who are struggling with their health. As she has experienced two transformative NDE’s with a feeling of leaving her body, she is able to counsel her patients that may have had similar experiences during a critical health event such as a heart attack. Many people have had experiences like this but are unable to communicate this with their family, friends or doctors due to a fear of being misdiagnosed as having a mental disorder.
